Community Support: The Foundation of Change
Our success at River Haven wouldn’t be possible without the support of the community. From volunteers who give their time to local businesses who donate resources, every contribution helps us change lives. These partnerships allow us to offer more than just immediate relief; they enable us to provide long-term solutions that address the root causes of homelessness.
For instance, when a local credit union donated materials for move in kits, hygeine kits and welcome home kits, we were able to provide residents with "all the things" they need when they enter shelter and when they find their own homes. These kits make a world of difference for unhoused indivduals and families during tough times.
